What is the event?

This is a half day course for parents and carers in West Sussex.

This course will help parents and carers to understand ADHD and the impact it has on their child's relationships, behaviour and day-to-day life. It explores some basic strategies and will share information on the local resources that could be available to parents, carers, children and young people for support.

What will I learn? To gain an understanding of ADHD in children and young people and its impact on behaviour, relationships and day-to-day life.

To have a basic toolkit of strategies that can enable positive behaviour, successful relationships and reaching potential in and and out of school.

To know local resources available to children, young people and their families in the local area.

Getting to the Venue By Car - there are 90 free car parking spaces available at the venue. Once you are parked, you need to collect a free permit from reception and display the permit in your car.

By Train - the nearest station is Haywards Heath station which is about a 10 minute walk away from the venue.

By Bus - the venue is about 5 minutes walk away from the town centre, where there are many bus routes.

Timings and breaks The course runs from 9.30am - 2:30pm. Teas/coffees will be provided during the mid-morning break.

It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before proceeding to book at [email protected]

Refreshments Tea and coffee will be provided during the mid-morning break. We will try and provide a caffeine free option but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend this course.

This course is heavily subsidised as it is a funded programme. Our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Please inform us if you are unable to take up your space as we can offer this to someone on our waiting list.
