Making Sense of Autism - Coastal West Sussex MIND training for Parent Carers

What is the event?

This is a half-day course for parents and carers in West Sussex.

What will I learn? Learn more about your child's diagnosis and how Autism and social communication difficulties may impact upon your child in the home, school and wider community. Basic strategies for helping them will be explored and information on local resources that could be available to you and your child will be shared. Timings & Breaks The course runs from 9:30am - 2:30pm.

Refreshments Tea and coffee will be provided at the mid-morning break.

Finding the Venue The nearest train station to Field Place is Durrington rail and then a 10 minute walk. The Pulse is a bus service which runs regularly nearby. There is free car parking on site and disabled spaces.

Cancellations Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
