ASC & ADHD Strategies - COASTAL WEST SUSSEX MIND AND ASPEN

What is the event?

This is a free one day course for parents and carers who live in West Sussex.

Course Aims: This workshop looks at ‘why’ children and young people with ASC and ADHD behave and experience the world as they do. We will have an in-depth look at how it affects individuals differently and how parent and carers can prevent stress, anxiety and challenging behaviour. The workshop will present a diverse range of practical strategies to use with children and young people with ASC and ADHD as well as explain the theory behind them. Attendees will get the opportunity to share good ideas and practice with the group.

Getting to the Venue The Shoreham Centre is five minutes walk from Shoreham Train station. There is a public car park behind the building.

Timings It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before proceeding to book at [email protected]

Refreshments Tea and coffee will be provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

Cancellations Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
