What is the event?

This is a free half day course for parents and carers who live in West Sussex.

Course Overview This workshop will provide an in depth understanding of how sensory processing issues can impact children and young people with ASC and ADHD. The workshop will provide an overview of sensory theory and the importance of considering the sensory needs of an individual. The attendees will also learn practical activities to encourage more organised and purposeful behaviour to suit the needs of their child. Part of this workshop will be interactive and practical therefore attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing!

Getting to the Venue The nearest train station is Burgess Hill which is a few minutes' walk away from the venue. There is no free car parking at the venue but there are plenty of council run car parks just nearby.

Timings It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before proceeding to book at [email protected]

Refreshments Tea and coffee will be provided mid-morning.

Cancellations Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
