What is the event?
This is a half-day course for people working with children and young people in West Sussex.
This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, Allsorts Youth Project and West Sussex County Council.
Course Overview
This full day training will provide an insight into the lives of trans and gender questioning children and young people, as well as gaining information on trans identities more generally.
We will learn practical ways to make your service safer and inclusive by exploring creative ways to challenge transphobia and support trans children and young people.
Getting to the Venue
The nearest train station is Burgess Hill which is a few minutes' walk away from the venue. There is no free car parking at the venue but there are plenty of council run car parks just nearby.
Timing
The course runs from 10am - 5.30pm
Teas & coffees will be provided during the mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks but LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.

Your £20 registration fee is non-refundable.

This course is heavily subsidised as it is a funded programme. Our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up.
