Making Sense of Anxiety (Autism and ADHD Programme)
What is the event?
Eligibility This session is for parents or carers or children and young people in West Sussex who may be on the Autism / ADHD Spectrum . This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, West Sussex County Council and West Sussex CCGs.
About the course This workshop offers an introduction to understanding anxiety in primary aged children. It will help you to make sense of anxiety, decide if your child worries too much, and outline a three-part strategy for supporting children who feel anxious. And it will share some tips for looking after yourself along the way too,
Getting to the Venue By Car The Billingshurst Centre is located just off the High Street and has on-site parking for up to 70 cars with additional parking nearby. The mainline station is a 15 minute walk.

By Train Billingshurst village lies to the north of the station, and it is a twelve-minute walk along Station Road through leafy residential neighbourhoods until you reach the High Street.
Timings The course runs from 09:30 - 14:30. Please arrive in plenty of time to ensure a prompt start
