Free fully accessible launch day for Compass Card West Sussex

There’s a real treat in store for 0-25s with additional needs and their families on Friday 8 April, the last day of the Easter holidays. The free and fully accessible Fun Day at Lodge Hill outdoor centre near Pulborough will mark the launch of Compass Card West Sussex, the leisure discount card for 0-25s with special educational needs and disabilities. There’s plenty of information about the new scheme, as well as a full array of indoor and outdoor activities from 10am to 3.30pm. Activities include archery, high zip wire, arts and crafts, Owls About Town, orienteering, terrain hoppers, alpacas, Polka Photography, Crate Challenge and a chill out space.

There’ll also be free lunch, drinks and refreshments. It’s essential you book for the event – email the Short Breaks Team at West Sussex County Council at [email protected] or call 0330 2222 562. If transport is a problem, pick up from Pulborough Station or other support can be provided – please confirm when you book. You can also specify any dietary requirements when you book.

Compass Card West Sussex is a joint initiative between West Sussex County Council and the Brighton-based, parent-led charity, Amaze. It’s expected registrations for Compass Card West Sussex will open at the end of February.
