Making Sense of Sleep (for children age 2-11years)

What is the event?

This is a workshop for Parent-Carers of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in West Sussex.

An online workshop via Zoom delivered by Audrey Ritchie (Sleep Scotland Trained) and Amanda Jenkins, Specialist Nursing Team attached to Child Development Centre at Sussex Community Foundation Trust. (Please note this workshop is for parent/carers who are not currently or have recently been involved with sleep input from the Specialist Nursing Team).

During this workshop we will look at what is sleep and identify the types of difficulties that some children experience. We will explore ideas and strategies to help improve your child's sleep and have a dedicated time for any questions you may have. This workshop is aimed at families with children aged 2-11 that are having difficulties with sleep.

After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a code to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
