What is the event?

COVID has had a big impact on our wellbeing and mental health. If you are a teenage girl, finding life hard, feeling low and in need of a boost this group is for you.

Join Julia, Rachel and Donna, forest school leaders, for some adventuring in the stunning Kingley Vale Nature Reserve, take part in fun activities including fire lighting, campfire cooking, natural art, bush craft, nature and conservation activities, den building, rope swings and woodland games. Learn to use woodcraft tools safely.

We will be cooking lunch over the campfire as part of the programme. Please let us know any special dietary needs.

You'll end each week feeling happy and relaxed and better able to manage the week ahead.

This is a course of fortnightly sessions for teenage girls which take place through January-March. Sessions run 10.30am -2.30pm

Sunday January 9th & 23rd, Feburary 6th & 27th, March 13th & 27th.

Places are limited so please only sign up if you are able to commit. The course is aimed at boosting wellbeing and mental health.

Covid precautions are in place. Participants will be expected to socially distance and wear a mask if needed if we are unable to maintain social for any short periods of time. Please do not attend if you are unwell or anyone in your family has COVID symptoms. We have lots of hot hand washing and equipment is cleaned and bubbled for this group.

Julia, Rachel and Donna are fully qualified level 3 forest school leaders with outdoor first aid, food hygiene level 2, mental health first aid trained. John Muir Conservation Award instructors.
