Making Sense of Adult Life - Moving on: Independence and life skills (age 16+)

As your child comes towards the end of their school years it can be a time of worry about the future, but it is also a time of possibilities and new horizons. Being prepared and knowing what to do and where to go for help and advice puts you and your young person in the best position to take advantage of what's on offer and be prepared for the inevitable changes.

This workshop will consider the roles of parents, schools and Further Education colleges and look forward to planning for continuing education, increasing independence, work and other opportunities and general preparation for adulthood.
