What is the event?

We are delighted to announce ‘Emotional Regulation through the Autism Lens’ – a conference for parent carers and professionals to come together to share insights, best practice and new research.

Our keynote speakers are Dr Seb Gaigg from City, University of London, Dr Lisa Quadt, from University of Sussex, and Greg Rix offering a lived experience perspective as an autistic individual and educator.

Whether you are looking to add to your understanding of autism and emotional regulation or beginning your learning journey and looking to build your knowledge, our conference will offer an amazing opportunity to hear about current research and lived experiences, and network with local parent carers and professionals.

In addition to presentations from our keynote speakers, attendees have the opportunity to attend a workshop covering topics including :

• Zones of Regulation in a primary school

• Sensory circuits and occupational therapy

• Interoception

• Lived experience perspectives of emotional regulation

The event will conclude with a panel question and answer session.
