Year 7 Entry Information Day

What is the event?

This is an event for families with a deaf child who is in Year 4 or 5 and are now thinking about their child's Secondary School placement.

We will be sharing lots of information about how to apply for a Secondary place at Mary Hare School, as well as the chance for families to ask any questions they might have and a tour of the school.

Mary Hare School is a large residential school for deaf children and young people aged 4 to 19. We offer a language-enriched approach in our teaching in the classroom, with all teachers being subject specialist Teachers of the Deaf and access to learning through state-of-the-art group aid technology. We also offer the national curriculum, as well as a wide range of support for students.

There will be parking available on site. Lunch is provided. Booking in advance is required. A full itinerary will be given to you ahead of the event.
