Swimming at Pavilions In The Park

What is the event?

Yip4Youth Buddies Scheme are going swimming at Pavilions In The Park in Horsham.

Swimming as a recreational activity leaves you with a positive feeling which improves your mental health it helps boosts confidence and improves their social skills. Swimming with other people in a public pool enhances community spirit and it provides a chance to meet new people and develop social skills.

It will be a chance for the young people to increase there fitness, learn about keeping themselves safe around water and develop confidence. They will also be talking and communicating with each other and also staff at the centre.

The cost of the session is £9 and a booking sheet will need to be completed, also if your young person is new to our service we would ask that parents complete a care plan both of which can be obtained by contact the Sovereign Centre and speaking to either the West Sussex Coordinator or a member of the team.
