Pizza Making and Meal at Pizza Express

Event

What is the event?

Yip4Youth are going Pizza making and having a meal at the Pizza Express in Crawley.

This can give your young person a chance to work on there conversation skills. Eating out builds social skills including everything from interacting with waiting staff to waiting patiently for the food to come out. It’s also a good way to point out social cues that other people are sending. Being in any public place, not just in restaurants, can help young people improve their social skills and impulse control.

But also they will be taking part in the making of there pizza, choosing the toppings and seeing them eventually appear in front of them.

We will be meeting at the Crawley Library and walking up to the restaurant as this will give the young people a chance to continue their development around road safety.

The cost of the session is £9 and a booking sheet will need to be completed, also if your young person is new to our service we would ask that parents complete a care plan both of which can be obtained by contact the Sovereign Centre and speaking to either the West Sussex Coordinator or a member of the team.
