Parent Carer Autism Workshops

What is the event?

Dear Parents and Carers.

Manor Green College will be running six parent/carer workshops to promote a better understanding of autism for families. The aims of the workshops are:

- To help develop a deeper understanding of your child.
- To explore current theories of autism.
- To help implement tried and tested strategies into the home.
- To help build parenting confidence.
- To help promote your child’s self management skills.
- To gain positive parenting experiences through success. 

There is a small contributory cost of £25 per parent/career for all 6 sessions. The workshops have been developed and are run by Nicole Goodman, Autism Specialist at Manor Green College.
