What is the event?

Autism and Anxiety Workshop -

Content: 1)comparison of anxiety in autistic people vs neurotypical people 2)emotional understanding and regulation 3)CBT 4)strategies for managing anxiety in day to day life

This workshop meets Continual Professional Development criteria at an intermediate level.

Audience: 1)individuals on the spectrum 2)parents and families 3)teachers and other professionals

In the past, we have had teenagers come to this workshop, who really enjoyed it and participated in the interactive elements.

This workshop is relevant to both males and females.

More Info: Our Courses are written by Alis Rowe who has Asperger's herself and so therefore knows what challenges that brings up in daily life, and are based on her books (published by Amazon). They are delivered by Caroline Kearl (a mum of 4 children with ASD/ADHD, married to a Aspie and diagnosed with ADHD), who in a previous life worked in sales/training etc.

Where: The Course is held at The Yews, with some free on street parking. Town centre payable car parks and the train station are within walking distance.
