The Adolescent Brain
Eligibility
- This is two-hour session for parents of, and/or carers who are responsible for, children and young people in West Sussex.
This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, West Sussex County Council and West Sussex CCGs.
About the course
In this course, we will explore the myths and negative stereotypes around teenagers and the teenage brain. You will gain more insight and ideas on how to interact more compassionately with adolescents. You will also explore latest research around what goes on in the developing adolescent brain and how it affects the young person’s present and future.
Getting to the Venue
Shoreham Academy is a 15 minute walk from Southwick Railway Station. The postcode is BN43 6YT.
Timing
The course runs from 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
