What is the event?

Do you ever wonder how much of the school day your students actually spend learning?

This dynamic presentation provides educators with many practical strategies for maximising teaching time for their learners with autism and complex communication difficulties.

Our framework for designing effective learning environments - The Pyramid Approach to Education will be reviewed and participants will learn to apply key components including teaching functional skills, receptive & expressive communication skills, and using reinforcers effectively in their classrooms. Participants will leave with easy to implement strategies that will improve any educational environment.
