Me and My Girl - Relaxed Performance (Summer Holidays)

Event

What is the event?

Chichester Festival Theatre is delighted to offer a relaxed performance of their summer musical Me and My Girl on Wednesday 25 July at 2.30pm. Cast includes Matt Lucas, Caroline Quentin, Clive Rowe and Alex Young.

This performance welcomes individuals, groups and families with children aged 10+ on the autism spectrum, with sensory and communication disorders or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment.

The performance and theatre will be adapted in a variety of ways to create a welcoming, less formal environment:

  • Audience members are able to leave and return to the auditorium during the performance
  • A chill-out area will be available for the duration of the performance
  • The auditorium lights will be adjusted for comfort
  • There will be a relaxed attitude to noise during the performance
  • The show’s lighting and sound levels will be adjusted

At Hareford Hall in Hampshire, suspense is in the air. The family solicitor has found the long-lost heir to the Hareford title and riches. But, to everyone’s horror, he’s a Cockney barrow boy called Bill Snibson. As the Duchess determinedly sets out to transform him into a true gentleman, Bill’s sweetheart Sally wonders how she fits in to his new life. Before too long, Bill has to answer some soul-searching questions about who he really is.

Tickets are £15. To book please call Box Office on 01243 781312.
