Child Development Centres(CDC) provides a multi-disciplinary service for children

They offer a team approach in partnership with parents, for assessment, diagnosis and ongoing treatment as appropriate.

Their team consists of: Specialist Nurses; Specialist Early Years Practitioners; Community Paediatricians; Audiologists; Occupational Therapists; Physiotherapists; Speech and Language Therapist; Orthotist; Newborn Hearing screeners; Visiting Specialist Consultant Neurologists; Administrative staff; and Voluntary staff.

They provide help for children with difficulties such as: Developmental disorder; Cerebral Palsy, Neuromuscular problems; Chronic neurological problems; Genetic / chromosomal disorders; Autistic Spectrum Disorders; Severe feeding difficulties; Sensory problems; Language problems; Severe coordinator difficulties; Complex incontinence; and in association with developmental disorders.
