Harvey’s Gang. Take the fear from having blood samples collected. Believes it should be part of the care pathway for every child. “I have had a consultant paediatrician request a Harvey’s gang tour as a treatment for their patient – that’s really something. The ultimate goal, (charity) – we want to be involved in improving patients’ healthcare.” Positive responses – the thank you letters from families the smiles on the faces of the children.
What we do:
- Harvey's gang allows a child to have a memorable day in hospital where they will tour their pathology laboratory; Seeing where their samples are processed, meeting the people, seeing the machines.
- Harvey’s Gang. Take the fear from having blood samples collected. We believe it should be part of the care pathway for every child.
- It does not cost the patient, except their tme: They will receive their own Harvey's gang Lab coat and Goody Bag with a Certificate of Attendance.
