Oaktree Farm Care is set on 33 acres of quiet farmland near the downs link. We offer people a unique opportunity to learn and grow through a variety of activities such as: Cycling, gardening, woodwork, arts and crafts, cookery, basic car maintenance, walking, coppicing and many more. Oaktree farm runs 09:30-15:30 Monday to Saturday all year round only closing for Christmas day and boxing day. We also provide transport for our customers to our provision and back home.

What we do:

Our customers are assessed on a taster and in consultation with parents/carers and any other professionals we organise support on a 1:1, 1:3 or 1:6 basis dependant on needs. We will match and abilities and needs to the activities and courses each day.
Our customers are involved in keeping the public bridle path of the downs link clear and suitable for use. With staff support the customers will help to cut back foliage and trees and increase their community presence.
Our customers will get involved as much as possible in the gardening, growing crops from seeds, looking after the growing plants and picking the finished produce when they are ready.
We even run our cookery groups wherever possible around the produce grown so the customers then get to eat what they have grown.
We provide day outings and supported living breaks for our customers at various times throughout the year.
