Service

Ingfield Manor School - Fulfilling potential through Conductive Education.

Ingfield Manor School is a non-maintained day and weekly residential special school for students aged 3 to 19 years with sensory and physical needs.

Our new Woodview provision supports secondary young people with social communication difficulties.

We also run the Ingfield Manor School for Parents (see separate listing), a unique service for families of babies and very young children up to five years.

What we do:

  • We are leaders in Conductive Education in this country. We offer a specialised curriculum which meets the needs of children and young people with neurological motor impairments like cerebral palsy, and associated sensory and medical needs.
  • Students are supported in their learning by unique trans-disciplinary teams - staff (including teachers and therapists) with different specialisms work in mixed teams to meet all the needs of each individual.
  • Ingfield Manor Early Years provision offers full or part-time places for children age three to six; Pre-school, Reception and Year 1. The dynamic and holistic approach enables the children to actively learn a range of essential foundation skills.
  • Within Ingfield Manor Primary department the pupils are taught the National Curriculum in small classes (typically 6-10 pupils), delivered by skilled teachers who are able to differentiate to meet the learning needs within the group.
  • The Secondary and Sixth Form departments deliver an integrated curriculum which is personalised to ensure the potential of individual students, raise their aspirations and develop the skills needed for adult life.
