Rogate CE Primary School
Service
Rogate Primary School is a small, rural, church primary school located on the Hampshire West Sussex border. We are a mainstream school with 4 classes. The classes are mixed ages. Year R, Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4, Year 5 and 6.
What we do:
- We emphasise learning through first-hand experiences and children learn through practical, hands-on activities using a wide range of resources, our school grounds and Garbitt’s Wood.
- The school is a Church of England foundation and, as such, aims to provide education of the highest quality within a framework of Christian beliefs and values.
- Our curriculum is taught through a cross-curricular approach to learning. Subjects are combined together to create ‘Learning Journeys’ which widen children’s horizons and stimulates their desire to learn.
- Children get a broad and balanced curriculum whilst emphasising other important aspects of learning such as working together and communication skills.
- As the school is on a split level site accommodating children with physical difficulties involving a wheel chair or walking frame would need careful consideration. As a school we are happy to discuss individual access requirements.
Our users say:
My child has blossomed since starting and gained both academic and social skills. Her Dyslexia is supported extremely well and I am indebted for the pastoral care the school provided when our family was going through a difficult time.
