Bury CE Primary School
Service
'Believe, Enjoy, Achieve.' Bury CE Primary is a village school with an inclusive ethos, dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. With high expectations, our vision is for children to become independent, responsible and happy learners.
What we do:
- We believe that quality first teaching is vital; however for some children there are occasions when further additional support may be needed to help them achieve their targets.
- We aim to work collaboratively with parents, carers and outside agencies to plan any programme of support needed for individual children.
- Support for children may be delivered in small groups or individually, depending on their needs and targets.
- We constantly review and update staff skills in order to support children according to their specific individual needs.
- Our school operates an 'open door' policy for parents and carers to visit and discuss any concerns that they may have.
Our users say:
"My daughter's dyslexia was recognised at an early stage and she was given the additional help and interventions needed as she progressed through KS2. This included support of a pastoral nature to help boost her self-esteem." - Parent of child
