Southwater Junior Academy

What we do:

• The majority of pupils at the academy live in the Southwater and the surrounding area although the academy does attract some children from wards within Horsham.
• The village is mostly comprised of private housing with some social housing. The academy has a small percentage of children from minority ethnic groups. Stability is high.
• Under the 2014 Code of Practice about 5% of children are recorded on the Special Educational Needs register. All of these children are in receipt of a range of interventions.
• We converted to an academy in July 2011.
• We are fortunate to have supportive parents, happy children and an excellent team of staff who work tirelessly to ensure children learn effectively in a safe and happy environment.
