What we do:

• Hawthorns is a warm, welcoming and small mainstream school where children will learn in a caring, family atmosphere supported and valued by one another. We work with parents/carers as part of our Parent Partnership to create positive relationships.
• Inclusion – we recognise, value and respect every child as a unique learner by providing the nurture, support, challenge and encouragement to enable them to succeed whatever their strengths and needs.
• We monitor every child’s progress to ensure that they achieve their full potential. Some children at times have difficulties and we identify them early and support them appropriately.
• Our talented team share their range of training and expertise with the children to ensure that every child reaches their potential across the curriculum and beyond. Our staff undertake regular training to better support children’s varying needs.
