Time Aside 'Sensory Art' workshops provide creative fun for the whole family. Very suitable and fun for Children and Young People with Disabilities, Siblings and Parents/Carers alike.
What we do:
- Sensory Art sessions for Children and Young People with Disabilities and their Families at venues within Bognor Regis and Mid Sussex. We will also have other community based sessions throughout West Sussex
- The sessions provide creative fun using a rich array of materials. The sessions meet all communication, access and esteem needs in a fun atmosphere. Light refreshments are provided.
- These sessions are for Children and Young People with Disabilities and their Families. We cater for all levels of need/ communication needs and provide opportunities for refreshing bonds and networking.
- Staff are qualified as 'Non - Directive Play Practitioners', and considerable experience within teaching for special needs.
- All venues have plenty of on-site parking and are fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with special mobility requirements.

"I would like to say how amazing Time Aside is run by the amazing Andrew and Suloo. This is fantastic for both my girls and me. Andrew and Suloo are always so friendly and welcoming. The girls can paint, make craft items, draw and colour, play with clay and all the wonderful sensory toys. At home all they want to do is play on their tablets so to get them out doing other things and interacting with other children is fantastic. They can make as much mess as they like and I enjoy painting with them. It's also great to be able to talk to other parents. To me, it's essential and I could not imagine ever being without it. It is a lifeline for me and my girls. Thank you so much Andrew and Suloo xx"

I love this. Andrew and Suloo are so kind, caring and are very interactive with all the children. My girls can paint, play with the clay, make lots of craft things, draw and colour and play with all the sensory toys. They can make as much mess as they want! Aprons are available if needed. I can relax, and enjoy playing with them. As they both have some toileting issues along with their Sen needs I often worry when taking them out somewhere. But not at time aside. It's so relaxing at time aside and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I could not imagine being without time aside. It's a lifeline for me and many other parents as well.
TimeAside is a wonderful inclusive environment, my children love going and really look forward to it. All the people involved in running it always make us feel so welcome and at ease. One of my children gets so much from this session, he's highly energetic to see him sitting quietly involved in creations is truly amazing. Afterwards he seems to be calm and happy for many hours having had so many sensory inputs. There's such a fantastic array of media that can be used, young people can freely move from one thing to another with no boundaries or restrictions and even a lovely sensory corner full of different toys, sensory items and tents etc.
We love our sessions at Time Aside in Oving- possibly one of the best activities we'd tried for our whole family. Everyone is included and welcome. There is always something creative that everyone can do and we all have fun. Very welcoming organisers. Very welcoming environment. Love it!
