Service

Rake school's ethos is centred around making learning 'exciting, engaging and inclusive' for all pupils regardless of ability. We encourage all pupils to achieve their full potential, providing additional support and extending learning.

What we do:

We provide activities for the 'whole' child to achieve.
We involve parents, professionals and pupils in decisions over their learning.
Staff contact parents and professionals by phone, by appointment and by multi agency meetings.
Staff deliver 1:1 support, small group support in class and withdrawal and mentoring.
Staff have received training in Speech and Language, Autism, Makaton, Mentoring, Specific learning difficulties, precision teaching and emotional literacy.
