Imberhorne School
Service
Imberhorne is a co-educational maintained comprehensive school based on 2 sites. We are a successful and inclusive community working hard to raise the achievement of all whilst also developing the skills, capabilities and personal qualities of students.
What we do:
- Students with Special Educational Needs and/ or Disabilities are supported according to their individual need, this can include in-class support as well as short and long term interventions such as small group work for extra literacy and social skills.
- We are committed to inclusion, supporting students with learning difficulties, social difficulties, significant medical conditions and disabilities. All students are encouraged to take part in a range of curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- We consider ourselves to be a friendly caring community, placing great emphasis on building and sustaining relationships as well as establishing a sense of belonging.
- We promote respect for all, promoting the acceptance of differences and celebrating diversity.
- We recognise all forms of success, both challenging and supporting students to help them fulfil their potential and gain a sense of achievement .
