Sheddingdean Community Primary School
Service
Sheddingdean is a one form entry primary school. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards.
What we do:
- We identify as soon as possible the extent and nature of any SEN/D (special educational needs/disabilities) a child might have. We then use this knowledge to develop programmes of support.
- We work closely with parents/carers, the child, support staff and class teachers to ensure that the child achieves his/her targets.
- We provide a caring and supportive environment where we encourage our children to experience success. We develop and nurture our children’s self-esteems and ensure our curriculum prepares them for life in the 21st century.
- Disabled pupils and those with special educational needs make good progress (Ofsted September 2014)
