Service

Our school welcomes pupils of all abilities, ensuring they have the best possible access to the curriculum. We value the importance of working closely with parents, carers and children having high expectations for all, no matter what their starting point.

What we do:

Planning across the school is differentiated to suit pupil’s individual learning needs. We provide quality first teaching in class with additional support when appropriate.
We aim to identify any barriers to learning as early as possible and understand the importance of early intervention.
We liaise with outside agencies such as the Child Development Centre, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Social Care or the School Nurse to ensure appropriate support for individual pupils.
Staff participate in a rigorous programme of professional development in order to understand and meet the needs of individual children.
We believe that every child has the right to respect, enjoy, achieve and learn.
