Walberton and Binsted C of E Primary is a warm and welcoming single-form mainstream school within the six villages community. The children are at the heart of our inclusive Christian ethos and we are committed and passionate about developing the whole child.

We believe children should be guided on their learning journey through the school to grow with confidence emotionally, spiritually, academically, and physically.

What we do:

We believe that quality first teaching is paramount; however, we recognise for some children there are occasions when they require additional support to assist them in achieving their goals.
We believe parents/ carers play a key role in the education of their children and we aim to work in close partnership, operating an ‘open-door’ policy for our families.
As a staff team, we regularly review and update our skills and learning where this links to supporting individual needs. We work with external agencies to plan and deliver appropriate programmes of support for individuals so that their needs can be met.
We strive to provide an engaging and exciting curriculum of enquiry for all children. We provide an adaptive curriculum appropriate to individual needs and abilities and identify pupils requiring school support as early as possible within their education.
We value our engagement with local pre-schools and secondary schools to ensure a smooth transition for our children between the various stepping stones of their school life.
