One new pupil in September said: I love this school. It is the best one I have been to!
Our daughter started Woodlands Meed in September 2015 and from before she even started we felt valued and respected as parent carers & felt that our daughter was most definitely going to be in the best school for her needs.
In her first half term she has been chosen to be on the student council, has received two headteacher awards and star of the week. She has gone from a primary school that tried to cater for her needs in large mainstream classes, where she was struggling to stay afloat in a class of 30, to a specialised school that well and truly has a handle on children with complex needs. Staff are extremely friendly, personable and easy to approach. Our daughter loves the school and regularly comments 'i can't wait to go back to school mummy!'
Of all the decisions we had to make in the process of EHCP's, assessments etc this was by far the easiest, because the school is great!
