Worthing Mencap champion the rights and provide support to people with learning disabilities and their families in the Worthing area, through the provision of a range of services, to help them lead independent lives engaging fully in the local community.

What we do:

Buddys is a welcoming cafe offering work experience placements for people with learning disabilities and volunteering opportunities. The cafe is accessible to all and has a disabled toilet.
The My Network service run on behalf of WSCC provides drop ins for people with learning disabilities needing advice or support. Available at Buddys Tuesdays 10am-12pm and Fridays 2-4pm and at Dove Lodge, Littlehampton on Thursday mornings.
Buddys Badgers is a social club for older people with learning disabilities offering a variety of activities and outings.
Out of Hours club is a social club for young adults with Aspergers condition. The group plan their own activities and outings.
Sports and Fun Day is an annual event for people of all ages to enjoy a variety of sports and activities. It is held in June at a local sports centre.
