The Dyspraxia Foundation is a national, registered charity with its administrative and fundraising centre in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Founded in 1987, it is financed entirely by membership subscriptions and private donations. It acts as a resource and information centre for those wishing to learn about dyspraxia, its diagnosis and treatment. What we do:

  • Offer a helpline service (01462454986) Monday-Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm
  • Offer memberships
  • Organise workshops and local support groups
  • Publish information on dyspraxia, maintain a website with useful information and organise conferences
  • “The object of the society is to relieve the disability of dyspraxic children and adults, to promote better diagnostic and treatment facilities and generally to encourage a wider understanding of the condition nationwide."

Our users say:

I found the Dyspraxia Foundation, very helpful, and was very grateful for the information received from them. My son was diagnosed with dyspraxia at high school and the advice received was invaluable.
