We are an expanding primary school for pupils aged 4-11 situated in Horsham. At Heron Way we strive to provide an outstanding education for all. We value every individual in our school community and work closely together in a wonderful team. We inspire, excite and challenge. Together we learn how to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
What we do:
- At Heron Way we are committed to offering an outstanding school experience which ensures the best possible progress and outcomes for all our children whatever their needs and abilities are.
- We always have high expectations of all of our learners. Our “learners” are everybody involved with Heron Way Primary School. We believe in achievement for all and no learner is left behind.
- Parent partnership and communication is vital to our approach and we value and welcome others opinions and concerns. To support pupils with additional needs, regular meetings with parents, staff and outside agencies take place.
- Heron Way has a good professional relationship with a range of outside support agencies, including speech and language therapists, social communication team, inclusion advisory service and school nurses
- The main school building is accessible for wheelchairs. Heron Way has a First Aid Co-ordinator, three fully trained First Aiders and a large team of Emergency First Aid trained staff.
