St Mary's C of E (Aided) Primary School Pulborough
Service
We are a happy and successful village primary school, passionate about the well-being of our children and their learning.
We live by our mission statement, 'A Christ-centred school, with a child-centred curriculum'.
What we do:
- St Mary's is a co-educational primary school, with a rising role, serving the needs of the village of Pulborough. St Mary's is a Church of England Foundation of 'Aided' status, maintaining close links with the Parish Church of St Mary.
- St. Mary’s has a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed staff, a supportive Governing Body and an active Friends of St. Mary’s. We welcome parents’ support and practical help in every aspect of school life.
- Our hopes are expressed in the value we place on our pupils. Each makes a distinctive contribution to the life of the school, and each will gain something different from St.Mary’s.
- OFSTED (2023) said, “The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) ensures that staff have a range of strategies they can draw on to tailor teaching for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)."
