Harlands Primary School
Service
Harlands Primary School is a two-form entry converter academy school for children aged 4-11. The school continues to be a part of West Sussex and collaborates closely with neighbouring schools whilst networking with a wider community of learning communities.
What we do:
- Harlands Primary School offers a broad, balanced appropriate education to all our children, recognising that some children may encounter difficulties in coping with our curriculum.
- Harlands has participated as a Dyslexia Friendly School and has received the bronze award as a DCD (development co-ordination disorder) school. It also meets the needs of children with ASD with the AAAwards, learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Support is delivered by the SENCo, classteacher, teaching assistants, the Learning Mentor, small group work and other appropriately qualified support staff, as necessary.
- The school benefits from a lift, ramps and accessible toilet facilities.
