Goring Church of England (aided) Primary School
Service
At Goring Church of England (Aided) Primary School we support all our children to develop intellectually, academically, socially, spiritually, morally and culturally, in an environment that promotes our Christian values. We strive to make sure our school is a happy and safe place where everyone is valued, respected and cared for.
What we do:
- We endeavour to achieve maximum inclusion of all children whilst meeting their individual needs. Teachers provide quality first teaching for all children in their care through carefully differentiated learning opportunities and materials.
- We use an 'assess, plan, do, review' approach to identify children with additional needs and we deliver targeted early interventions and/or personalised support. We involve outside agencies as needed for advice and guidance.
- We know that parents have unique knowledge of their own children and we value our partnership with them and encourage them to work collaboratively with us to achieve the best outcomes for their children.
- We believe that good behaviour is essential in order for children to do their best in school and we support all our children to make good choices. We actively reward good behaviour and help children understand the consequences if they make poor choices.
- We strive to maintain relationships with our children based on trust, mutual respect and tolerance in a problem-solving context so that each child can achieve the best they can during their time with us at Goring Church of England Primary School.
