Hive parent support group, is based at Herons Dale Primary School in Shoreham. It is run by Rebecca Dunne a parent of two autistic children who attend the school. This group is for everyone who is looking for information or advice in a friendly, relaxed environment, where you can have a chat with other like-minded parents/carers, and where you can get advice and information on a variety of issues. They have regular guest speakers and are in the process of setting up training courses.
What we do:
- We are a meeting point for parents/carers to get together and chat over a coffee/tea in a relaxed environment.
- We can give you information and advice on what's going on in the area that would suit your family's needs.
- We can advise you on grants and services that could help ease the pressure of family life.
- We can provide access to courses to help you understand and help your child's disabilities
- We can help you by putting you in touch with other professionals and guest speakers
