Hoist Assisted Toilet - Worthing Leisure Centre - Changing Places
Service
Worthing Leisure Centre is the largest of the South Downs Leisure centres, and benefits from a Changing Places changing facility. There are two disabled toilets on site: one in the reception area equipped with a sliding door and handrail. The second is a ‘Changing Places’ toilet facility (located by the entrance to ‘Amazon Adventure’) and is equipped with a hoist, adult size changing bed and space for a wheelchair.
What we do:
- Trampoline Hoist: Fully trained and experienced coaches instruct Aiming High Trampolining sessions and an accessibility hoist is available.
- Hearing Enhancement: There is a hearing assistance fixed loop system at the main reception of Worthing Leisure Centre.
- Parking: There are eight disabled bays situated in the main section of the car park. A dropped curb edge allows smoother transition to the pavement leading towards reception of the main building.
- Assistance Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome on site including in the café area. Please speak to a member of staff if you require water.
