Petworth CofE Primary School

Service

Petworth CofE Primary is a mainstream primary school and our guiding principle is one of inclusion. We want to break down all possible barriers to learning and to raise standards of achievement for our learners within a culture and ethos that enables all learners to be fully engaged in the learning process and achieve their potential in school and in their transition into adulthood and employment. We are committed to 'Inspire, Nurture and Challenge' all of the children within our care.

What we do:

  • We work with parents to identify and support their child's learning and we offer regular meetings to discuss each child's progress.
  • We have access to a range of outside agencies and we use these for advice, strategies, resources and support for the school, parents and children alike.
  • We believe that teachers have the responsibility to uphold a child centred curriculum and to recognise the learning diversity in their class and specifically and appropriately plan for each child’s learning needs
  • If you are interested in finding out more about Petworth CofE Primary School and would like to discuss your child’s learning needs, please book a telephone consultation or meeting with the Head teacher, Mr Galvin and / or SENCo Mrs Sandon-Webb.
