Counselling for Children provides solution focused therapy to children and young people within West Sussex schools.
We work in partnership with schools to support children's mental health and emotional well-being.
As part of the team around the child we work holistically to alleviate any area of distress that the child or young person may be experiencing in order to promote positive change.
What we do:
- Our team of qualified school counsellors work one-to-one with children and young people in primary and secondary schools across West Sussex.
- We work in schools with individuals experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties which are causing them distress and impacting upon their ability to access the curriculum fully.
- The service can be accessed through your child's school. Contact your Child's teacher, Inclusion Leader, SENDCo or Headteacher to discuss if working with a school counsellor would be beneficial for your child.
- If your child's school does not currently provide school counselling ask them to contact [email protected] to arrange support from our service.
