OTkin - Nature and Sensory Occupational Therapy

Service

We are a small, local and highly specialist team who provide nature and sensory integration based occupational therapy services for young people aged 3-25 years old and those who care for them. We celebrate diversity with our family led, holistic and neurosequential approach.  We focus on strengths and what is meaningful to your family. We offer Assessments, Sensory Explorer woodland sessions and Parent & Carer courses.

What we do:

  • We offer individual sessions in a beautiful woodland site where the great oak tree holds our sensory swings and offers shelter, creating a regulating space to explore our sensory worlds and develop skills.
  • Assessments tailored to each individual and completed by a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist with post graduate certificate in Sensory Integration Assessment and Intervention Planning.
  • Making Sense Of Senses. An online course for those who support a loved one with sensory processing difficulties. Designed with parents & carers to build connection, develop understanding of sensory needs and grow confidence by trying out new ideas at home
  • Highly specialist Occupational Therapist with post graduate certificate in Sensory Integration. Certificates in Sensory Attachment, Interoception Assessment & Intervention, EcoSensory Therapy Practitioner,MNRI Dynamic & Postural Reflex Integration
  • We are passionate advocates who believe everyone should have access to the education, relationships, hobbies, interests and environments they desire. We trust that children, young people, parents and carers are the experts in their lives.
