Changing lives through horses is a British Horse Society initiative delivered by Quarry Farm supporting children & young people who have been, or are at risk of, exclusion, have special educational needs and/or disabilities or those who are not in employment, education or training. We deliver 6 life skills alongside a national curriculum informed programme; building relationships, communication, confidence, responsibility, teamwork and perseverance.
What we do:
- British Horse Society programme supporting children and young people 5 - 25.
- Opportunities for participants to build confidence, resilience, and motivation while working with horses.
- British Horse Society designed curriculum supported by the national curriculum delivered in regular sessions. Working with all stakeholders to improve outcomes for our participants.
- Support for learners regardless of barriers to learning. Supports development of skills for any chosen career pathway.
