Pedal People Charity offers accessible cycle rides, for elders and anyone living with a disability/health challenges.

All-ages accessible rides from/along Brighton seafront. Elder care rides for those in care homes

What we do:

  • Accessible cycle rides: All year-round, wind-in-hair wellbeing. For anyone living with disabilities/health challenges. We train carers, friends, personal assistants and family to pilot rides. Enjoy the seafront and green spaces throughout Brighton.
  • Elder care rides run weekly for care homes/providers, piloted by our Volunteer Cycle Pilots.
  • No-cost, but donations are welcome as we are a small charity. Easy to use, electric-assist cycles. Suitable for complex needs.
  • Fill out our booking intake form on our website to let us know of any accessibility requirements you may have. All information for visiting us will be sent to you once you book in for the first time.
  • Variety pedal, no-pedal, electric-assist trikes. For all ages & abilities (hoist available). Disabled parking. Adaptable, accessible cycles with seat belt, swivel-out seats, arm rests. Easy-onboarding and wheelchair transfer.
