Fishbourne is a Church of England mainstream state Primary school. We are passionate about children's learning, and the environment in which they learn. We work hard as a staff team to ensure that each child is happy, secure and wanting to learn.

What we do:

Our vision, as a Christian school, is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to develop their personal, spiritual, academic and creative capabilities to the full. We believe in the importance of developing a life-long love of learning.
We are actively involved in the life and the community it serves. Strong links have been formed with the Church, Roman Palace and the Village Pre-School.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share that commitment.
We work closely with parents to identify and support their child's learning needs. We offer regular and timely meetings to discuss each child's progress.
As well as support provided by our own staff, we work closely with agencies (Speech and Language, Educational Psychology service, Learning Inclusion Advisory Team, Ethnic Minority Achievement Team) to seek advice and support for children when necessary.
