Brantridge School
Service
Brantridge School is a special school catering for boys with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions from ages 6-12. The school strives to provide a curriculum that is flexible and personalised to allow individuals to flourish and achieve their full potential. Dedicated and experienced staff work with families to ensure children make real progress, and parental feedback is overwhelmingly positive on the child-centred approach.
What we do:
- The main aim of the school is to help each pupil fulfil his potential and position him for life by giving him his full entitlement to the national Curriculum within a caring framework.
- The school's ethos incorporates principles of structure, continuity and security within which the pupil will be able to maximize his personal, social and educational development.
- The school seeks to promote high personal standards of work and behaviour. Emphasis is placed on improving each pupil's self-esteem, self image and confidence.
- We recognise the importance of motivating the individual to value academic success and to feel positive about relationships. Personalised educational strategies are combined with a blended therapeutic approach to improve social communication.
- The school places a high value on the importance of working closely with the child, his family and/or carers, referring authority and other agencies. Health and emotional well-being are integral to improving outcomes.
