The March Church of England Primary School

Service

We are proud to be a Christian School community and try to reflect Christian values in the way we teach, learn and interact with others. Our aim is that all of our pupils feel happy, secure and valued, enabling them to become confident successful learners with the motivation, skills and responsibility to make a positive difference in God's world.

School Mission Statement: 'With God's help we will live kindly, love each other, learn & laugh together !'

What we do:

  • We work with parents as partners to enable their children to be the best they can be, supporting their learning , social and emotional development.
  • We aim to plan the best possible experiences for children so that they can learn and grow in confidence. We regularly assess and review what we do to see that it is working.
  • We use 'Working With Others' to help children build relationships and develop independence.
  • We work with outside agencies including speech & language therapists, play therapists, paediatric occupational heath service & the school nurse service.
  • We work with other local schools in the Goodwood area, and learn from each other for the benefit of the children.

Our users say:

Ofsted Report 2014: "Pupils enjoy school, behave well and take pride in their school. They are very positive about learning and respond enthusiastically to the stimulating curriculum. They are kept safe and are looked after well."
